School location
The school is situated in a very beautiful place: The Finnish Gulf, Blue Mountains, pine-tree woods. Tallinn highway, which is situated near makes the school location also very comfortable. Distance to Narva - 27 km. Distance to Johvi - 23 km.

School history

In 1972 there was made the decision of building the Sillamae Vocational School, meant for 600 students. From the very beginning the school was built for preparing specialists for the plants in Ida-Virumaa.
On the 1st of September 1981 the school was ceremonial opened, and 191 students began their studies.
In 1983 in addition to "old" technical professions appeared several new fields of study--cook, cashier etc.
The school continuously developed and nowadays it is a modern school with big comfortable blocks, well equipped classrooms. The subjects are taught by qualified teachers. Practical tasks are held under the observation of experienced experts
